January 6, 2003 As a senior developer for APS, Robinson is responsible for leading the development of new product offerings and assisting in the creation of additional modules and features for the company’s flagship DTE time entry product. Robinson will also be responsible for proactively meeting with customers, prospects and APS’ technology and development partners to ensure that all market needs are met. “We are extremely pleased that David has decided to join the APS team. He is known industry-wide for his time entry development expertise. We are looking forward to working closely with him on new product development and also to his valuable contributions in the continued evolution of DTE,” said APS President, Jim Tharpe. “Equally as important as his development skills and industry knowledge is David’s commitment to working closely with customers and responding directly to their needs.” Robinson’s expertise in time entry software stems from his years developing Carpe Diem for ProSoft Corporation, where he served in several roles including vice president of product development and vice president of development and support. During his tenure at ProSoft, Robinson created the development, testing and support teams for Carpe Diem. When Best Software/Sage purchased the company, Robinson reorganized and expanded the R&D team to enhance the development of the product. As director of development he managed all facets of the product, as well as quality assurance, sales and support staff training, and some aspects of the partner certification program. Prior to that, Robinson worked for IDX Corporation in Dallas, where he provided programming support for medical software applications. Robinson has a BS in Computer Science from Northeast Louisiana University, as well as in-depth understanding of and experience working with all major operating systems, network operating systems, databases, programming languages, web servers and office software. |
